TV Personality Bobby Trendy and i sat in the front row of a really fun fashion show in Hollywood. The 3rd Annual Costume Couture Fashion Show for FORPLAY OF HOLLYWOOD the event was organized by FABULOUS PUBLIC RELATIONS based here in LA. I had the pleasure of meeting with co-founder Eva Dishanni. I also had fun meeting with ADRIANNE CURRY the 1st winner from Tyra Banks AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL as well as Elvira who introduced the show and was promoting her own new reality show SEARCH FOR THE NEXT ELVIRA.

This past week I have been lucky enough to go to many great events at the PDC, thanks to Vanessa De Vargas's for utilizing my Lucite furniture designs with her interior design at the Young Hollywood Life Home at the Pacific Design Center.

Californication is the new showtime hit starring David Duchovny, Even Handler(Charlotte's husband from Sex in the city) and Rachel Miner - She rocked.

Last week Vanessa De Vargas and i attended Jermaine Dupri's book launch hosted at the Young Hollywood home in the Pacific Design Center.

It was a very low key evening Janet Jackson stood by her man all night and was really nice and said hello to everyone, Love her!!!!

Last night Bobby Trendy invited me to escort him to a couple of parties. For those of you that may live under a rock, Bobby came to fame as the Interior Designer for Anna Nicole Smith. As you can imagine a couple of parties turned out to be really fun red carpet events at incredible locations.

The first stop was at the Mondrian Hotel home to the world famous SkyBar, we stopped by this $500. ticket event to help celebrate the birthday of West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman. The cost of the tickets went to many different charities including Madonna's stomping ground Malawi orphan fund.

The last stop was located at the famed Beverly Hilton Hotel which hosted the oh so glamorous Hollywood Film festival launch party which included guest such as Janet Jackson . It was fun to be shot on the red carpet with Golden Globe winner Sally Kirkland but i look awful so i wont post it. Also keep a look out for MERGE magazine an ECO friendly mag for the stylish. It was great to meet Audra White from Merge.

SMART HOUSE COMES TO VENICE FOR THE USA LAUNCH OF SMART CAR

A fabulous modern Venice beach building has been turned into the SMART HOUSE for the USA launch of the SMART CAR. NYC PR firm LAFORCE-STEVENS is behind the campaign. Last Thursday was the launch party for THE SMART HOUSE located at 1319 Abbot Kinney Blvd. Danny Masterson of that 70's show fame was the celebrity DJ.

My good friend Vanessa De Vargas of TURQUOISE just did a room at the YOUNG HOLLYWOOD HOME sponsored by HOLLYWOOD LIFE MAGAZINE located at the
PACIFIC DESIGN CENTER. Not only is Vanessa in great company including FENDI CASA, TWENTIETH , MINOTTI , LINDA ALLEN DESIGNS and CORY PERNICANO she has also used two of my furniture designs. We also got to walk the red carpet with the likes of Cindy Crawford.

I am dressed in an OLIVER SPENCER JACKET and Vanessa is wearing a stunning dress by ISSA, available at BRICK LANE

JORDAN CAPPELLA CANDELABRA FOR ALIE WALDMAN HOME COUTURE

Its been a while in the making, I am not sure if you recall the LA TIMES article where Alie Waldman mentions the collaboration on a design between her and me. The first piece is complete. A hanging ceiling light with a smoked bronze Lucite body which encases a nickel candelabra. We are both so happy with the results. Please check out the picture above. The dimensions are 42" tall x 18"sq it can be custom ordered in any size.

TOD'S : FALL/WINTER 2007-2008 AD CAMPAIGN

As some of you know I spent 7 years in NYC as the National Sales Manager for Tod's accessories brand, that being said many people have asked me if the model featured in the new FALL 07/08 campaign is Sienna Miller, knowing that Diego Della Valle, president of Tod's had never chosen a celebrity to be the face of a campaign I said no, but given that the face looked so much like Sienna's I decided to put in a call to the Tod's press office and to my surprise they confirmed that yes it is Sienna, the first Tod's celebrity campaign model. She really looks stunning! Seems that Tod's creative director Derek Lam is giving the house a fresh approach.
