JORDAN CAPPELLA CANDELABRA FOR ALIE WALDMAN HOME COUTURE

Its been a while in the making, I am not sure if you recall the LA TIMES article where Alie Waldman mentions the collaboration on a design between her and me. The first piece is complete. A hanging ceiling light with a smoked bronze Lucite body which encases a nickel candelabra. We are both so happy with the results. Please check out the picture above. The dimensions are 42" tall x 18"sq it can be custom ordered in any size.

TOD'S : FALL/WINTER 2007-2008 AD CAMPAIGN

As some of you know I spent 7 years in NYC as the National Sales Manager for Tod's accessories brand, that being said many people have asked me if the model featured in the new FALL 07/08 campaign is Sienna Miller, knowing that Diego Della Valle, president of Tod's had never chosen a celebrity to be the face of a campaign I said no, but given that the face looked so much like Sienna's I decided to put in a call to the Tod's press office and to my surprise they confirmed that yes it is Sienna, the first Tod's celebrity campaign model. She really looks stunning! Seems that Tod's creative director Derek Lam is giving the house a fresh approach.

One of my favorite blogs Desire To Inspire post an article on Australia's very own Florence Broadhurst. Two of my Lucite/upholstered ottomans covered in Black & White Florence fabric, Bronze tray and chair designs are featured in the story they were launched at Woodson & Rummerfields in Los Angeles the same night as Helen O'neills book on Florence, her secret and extraordinary life. I feel so lucky to have my designs showcased with such talented people. the second shot is Jaime and Ron the owners of Woodson, David Lenie the owner of Signature prints, Helen O'Neill the author of her extraordinary life and I.

JORDAN CAPPELLA REFURBISHED BAMBOO LOVE SEAT

When I came across this set they were a rundown natural bamboo color and needed much love, after a little attention to detail and a fresh coat of white paint they were ready to go to there new home Patio Culture Upon arrival owner Karla Steven's upholstered green cushions with blue piping. Then they were featured in a PC story for Instyle Home.

They sold last week. Yay!

My bags are individually handmade in the USA supporting local industry, they are made from high end outdoor fabrics and Vinyls the dimensions are 16"wide X 12" tall/ 22" to the top of handles. Last week I met with Amanda Dugan the owner of Brick Lane to do a photo shoot of some of the new Fall collection, each week we will choose one of her clients to model new looks and I will be styling the outfits some of the labels carried are TED BAKER, OLIVER SPENCER, FRED PERRY, ENGLISH LAUNDRY, SMEDLEY AND KANGOL. The L Word - DANIELA SEA

I had the pleasure of meeting one of my favorite characters from Showtimes The L Word. Daniela Sea plays Max Sweeney. Not only does she star on the show that i believe replaced Sex in The City, she also appeared in the music video for Scissor Sisters "Filthy Gorgeous" Love her!

THE PACIFIC DESIGN CENTER HOST - THIRSTY THURSDAY ON 3

Last Thursday I enjoyed cocktails and canapes while previewing the latest collections and inspirations for today's interiors. Located on the third floor at the world renowned
PACIFIC DESIGN CENTER. The following showrooms are just a few that participated in the event, Thomas Lavin, Niermann Weeks, Holly Hunt, Paul Ferrante and the night was catered by Wolfgang Puck. What a crazy fun night. Ty Pennington of extreme makeover fame opened his 1st modern furniture boutique on trendy Abbott Kinney Blvd in Venice , CA 90291. Not only does he deserve huge success from all the incredible work he does but this man has an eye for style. Yes, that is me and Halle Berry, she is so sweet and if I was a bouncer at a bar I would card her, she looked 18 years old, gorgeous! Vanessa De Vargas looks stunning as always photographed with Ty. The third photo down is my good friend Jamen Brooks he is an incredible singer/ songwriter check out his music here. You may have heard him before on Laguna Beach or Party of five. The opening made it onto the PEOPLE magazine website.
