I had the chance to live there for a short time in the late 90's. Amazing times. My favorite was 2 hour walks with my good friend Caroline every night. "look how happy they are dancing"

It's interesting to be reading history of a city or simply a building. This is a nice recommendation. I will check it out.
Los Angeles has history and shiny Hollywood. The story should not be a surprise. But the story is still a good one.
