My good friends Vanessa De Vargas and Cory Pernicano designed a fantastic room at the PACIFIC DESIGN CENTER showcase for Hollywood Life Magazine. Great awards and fun party. some of the other rooms include designs by Veuve Cloquet Champagne. I spent a lot of time in their fun contemporary pink and orange room.

I just had my parents visit from Australia, while in LA we stayed at MAISON 140. What a great night it was at Kelly LaPlante's book release party "ECOLOGIQUE". Kelly is at the forefront of green design and has just launched a furniture collection with the very good looking and talented designer James Saavedra called "jak".

As I was driving up Robertson Blvd today, I noticed a sign "I WONDER HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE EVER SLEPT WITH AN AUSSIE" Then with joy as I read on it said Peter Alexander will be opening a free standing boutique. If you don't know who and what his fantastic designs are click here.

Peter designs so much more then just sleepwear and will be opening two other LA locations.

JONAS SAMSON - LIGHT EMITTING WALLPAPER

With Jonas Samson's high-tech light emitting wallpaper its possible to use a two dimensional flat surface as a light source instead of a 3D object. When the wallpaper is turned off, it is indistinguishable as a source of light and looks like regular wallpaper.

I love this for a club wall or my friend Carl Anderson's salon in Sydney the nailzoo

I am excited to announce that fabulous fabric designer Paula Small has opened her first Boutique HENRY ROAD located at 3949 Laurel grove Ave, Studio City CA 91604. 818 762 8966.

Paula has all her fabrics, wallpaper, stationary, custom furniture and so much more.

You can find a Jordan Cappella Lucite design there also.

The grand opening is this Sat March 3rd from 6 - 9pm. There will also be a photographic exhibition by TJ Scott.
