GLAM PUNK - OMD HOUSE

Hello,

Vanessa De Vargas and I have finished the interior and furniture design for Jennifer Seigal's OMD prefab display home located on Abbot Kinney Blvd Venice, Ca. The syle is very much Glam Punk. We designed the coffee table utilizing a vintage trunk with a Goyard like print then incased it in a clear Lucite box and added wheels. The sofa trim has been painted gold and upholstered in a black patent leather. The bar was manufactured from smoked Bronze Lucite and finished with deco accents. Both the modern Castiglioni Arco lamp and white Panton chairs are from AID. Vanessa gave the Vintage round Duncan Phyfe table a new finish. The pop art is by DALLAS SHAW. The red and natural side chair is available from Vitra

Enjoy the pics, all the furniture is for sale please feel free to contact Vanessa or myself should you have any questions.

THE DAILY TELEGRAPH - SYDNEY AUSTRALIA

The first piece of furniture I ever designed was a brown and white South American cowhide ottoman. It was hand cut and stitched with a Tasmanian oak base and is shown above in Lynn Malone's bathroom. Located at 77 Macleay St, Potts Point, Sydney Australia and featured in The Australian news paper The Daily Telegraph. (Lynn Malone is a well known Australian Interior designer). The ottoman was originally published in Contemporary Home Design magazine which was Lynn's previous apartment, located in the fabulous POMEROY building also on Macleay st.

BEAUTY EXPRESS SALON - AUSTRALIA

I may be doing the interiors for a beauty salon here in Hollywood. I have pulled out some old shots, This was my first Interior design job in Australia and it was a salon called BeautyExpress It happens to be owned by my Mum - Lyn Cappella. It was an experience, the funniest line for me was Mum saying "I DON'T EVEN LIKE PINK AND YOU ARE CREATING AN I DREAM OF JEANNIE BOTTLE" In the end we had many laughs and the space turned out great as well as being shot for BRIDE TO BE Magazine.

If I go ahead with the salon here you will be the first to know.

WARREN CUCCURULLO - of DURAN DURAN fame and so much more!

I custom made the CORSET table pictured above for Warren Cuccurullo, the famous rock and pop guitarist who has worked with Frank Zappa, and been a long term band member of DURAN DURAN and was a founding member of Missing Persons. He is such an incredible talent and I am so honored to have designed a piece that is displayed in his home with some of the most amazing artist work from the 20th century. The corset table consists of a black granite top hand bent Lucite and 1900's vintage hooks.

Thanks for the opportunity Warren.

YOU ROCK!

WINDSOR HILLS - CA

When you first arrive at this Californian suburb, you would be forgiven for thinking you had been transported back to the 70's set of the Brady Bunch. Windsor Hills Built in the late 50's and early 60's has a community that has taken great pride in maintaining the original homes, this barely touched area was once home to the likes of TINA and IKE TURNER.

If you are visiting Los Angeles this is a must see!
